AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1531




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1531 on page 1 by 
3inserting immediately below line 13 the following:
4    "The public policy of Illinois shall prohibit any action, 
5adjudication, or order that would permit a child to have more 
6than 2 legally recognized parents at any given time."; and


 
7on page 17 by inserting immediately below line 18 the 
8following:
9    "Paternity judgments and acknowledgments of other states 
10shall be recognized to the extent that they comply with the 
11public policy of this State unless compliance with that policy 
12results in actual loss of federal funding pursuant to 45 CFR 
13Part 302 and 45 CFR Part 305 or other similar regulation 
14concerning child support orders and enforcement of support 
15obligations."; and
 

16on page 81 by inserting immediately below line 20 the
