2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, | ||||||
3 | represented in the General Assembly:
| ||||||
4 | Section 5. Property. The State of Illinois owns the | ||||||
5 | following real property, commonly known as the Centralia Animal | ||||||
6 | Disease Laboratory at the mailing address 9732 Shattuc Road, | ||||||
7 | Centralia, Illinois 62801: | ||||||
8 | A tract of land located in the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section | ||||||
9 | 3, T1N, R1W, of the 3rd P.M., Clinton County, Illinois, more | ||||||
10 | particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest | ||||||
11 | corner of said Section 3, T1N, R1W, 3rd P.M., thence on an | ||||||
12 | assumed bearing of S. 87° 43' 18" E, a distance of 30.00 feet, | ||||||
13 | thence S. 00° 00' 00" W, a distance of 1747.27 feet, thence N. | ||||||
14 | 87° 36' 10" E, a distance of 676.34 feet to the "point of | ||||||
15 | beginning", thence along a curve concave Northeasterly tangent | ||||||
16 | to the last described course and having a radius of 312.33 feet | ||||||
17 | and an arc distance of 295.42 feet, thence N. 33° 24' 34" E, a | ||||||
18 | distance of 104.42 feet, thence S. 77° 10' 51" E, a distance of | ||||||
19 | 354.55 feet, thence S. 00° 13' 42" W, a distance of 416.94 | ||||||
20 | feet, thence N. 89° 08' 04" W, a distance of 409.89 feet, | ||||||
21 | thence N. 42° 23' 50" W, a distance of 355.00 feet to the | ||||||
22 | "point of beginning" and enclosing an area of 5.20 acres, more | ||||||
23 | or less; except the coal, oil, gas and other minerals |

2 | restrictions and covenants of record; | ||||||

4 | Section 10. Conveyance. (a) Upon the payment of the sum of | ||||||
5 | $1 to the State of Illinois, and subject to the conditions set | ||||||
6 | forth in subsection (b), the Director of Agriculture, on behalf | ||||||
7 | of the State of Illinois and the Department of Agriculture, | ||||||
8 | must convey by quitclaim deed all right, title, and interest of | ||||||
9 | the State of Illinois and the Department of Agriculture in and | ||||||
10 | to the real property described in Section 5 to Kaskaskia | ||||||
11 | College. | ||||||
12 | (b) The quitclaim deed to Kaskaskia College shall state on | ||||||
13 | its face and be subject to the conditions that the real | ||||||
14 | property shall be used by Kaskaskia College for educational | ||||||
15 | purposes and that if Kaskaskia College ceases to exist or if | ||||||
16 | the real property is used for any purposes other than | ||||||
17 | educational purposes, then title shall revert without further | ||||||
18 | action to the State of Illinois. | ||||||
19 | Section 15. Recording. The Director of Agriculture shall | ||||||
20 | prepare one or more quitclaim deeds to convey the real | ||||||
21 | property. The Director may also record a certified copy of this | ||||||
22 | Act. Each quitclaim deed shall reference this Act and contain | ||||||
23 | the reversionary language from subsection (b) of Section 10. | ||||||
24 | All documents of conveyance must be recorded in the county in |

2 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
3 | becoming law.
