| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3323 as follows:

| 3 | | on page 1, line 8, by replacing "all" with "certain"; and

| 4 | | on page 1, line 9, immediately after "supplies.", by inserting: |
| 5 | | "These rules shall exclude maintenance activities of existing |
| 6 | | water-supply components, including, but not limited to, the |
| 7 | | painting and treatment of fire hydrants, pump stations, and |
| 8 | | treatment facilities. These rules shall exclude any activities |
| 9 | | currently performed by water utilities, including the |
| 10 | | installation of poly wrap and other corrosion control measures |
| 11 | | that are employed to protect buried pipe lines from |
| 12 | | corrosion."; and
|
| 13 | | on page 4, line 11, by replacing "all" with "certain"; and
|
| 14 | | on page 4, line 12, immediately after "bridges.", by inserting |
