| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3695 on page 2, in |
| 3 | | line 6, after "Fund.", by inserting "The changes made to this |
| 4 | | Section by this amendatory Act of the 99th General Assembly: |
| 5 | | (1) do not authorize an increase in the district's maximum |
| 6 | | aggregate extension or limiting rate under the Property Tax |
| 7 | | Extension Limitation Law; and (2) constitute a continuation of |
| 8 | | the existing total maximum rate under this Section and are not |
| 9 | | a new rate for the purposes of the Property Tax Extension |
| 10 | | Limitation Law.".
