| 1 | | AN ACT concerning State government.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Act on the Aging is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 4.16 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (20 ILCS 105/4.16 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 4.16. Integrated mental health services. Subject to |
| 8 | | appropriations, the Department on Aging may provide grants to |
| 9 | | public and private nonprofit entities for projects that |
| 10 | | demonstrate ways to integrate mental health services for older |
| 11 | | adults into primary health care settings, such as federally |
| 12 | | qualified health centers as defined in Section 1905 (1) (2) (B) |
| 13 | | of the Social Security Act, primary care clinics, and private |
| 14 | | practice sites. The Department may adopt any rules necessary to |
| 15 | | implement this Section.
