| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3815 on page 3, line |
| 3 | | 18, after "period.", by inserting "Notwithstanding the other |
| 4 | | provisions of this subsection (2), the employer of a pesticide |
| 5 | | applicator or operator licensee may notify the Director that |
| 6 | | the licensee's employment has been terminated. If the employer |
| 7 | | submits that notification, the employer shall return to the |
| 8 | | Director the licensee's pesticide applicator or operator |
| 9 | | license card and may request that the Department allow the |
| 10 | | unused portion of the terminated licensee's pesticide |
| 11 | | applicator or operator license term to be used by a newly |
| 12 | | certified individual that has successfully completed one or |
| 13 | | more written examinations and provides documentation |
| 14 | | demonstrating the required financial responsibility for a |
| 15 | | licensee, and the Director may issue a pesticide applicator or |
| 16 | | operator license to the newly certified individual with an |
| 17 | | expiration date equal to the original license after payment of |
| 18 | | a $10 fee.".
