AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4141

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4141, AS AMENDED, by inserting the following in its proper numeric sequence:

    “Section 50. The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated to the Department of Human Services:

    Section 51.  The sum of $227,812,800, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for costs associated with the operation of State Operated Mental Health Facilities or the costs associated with services for the transition of State Operated Mental Health Facilities residents to alternative community settings.

    Section 52.   The sum of $35,520,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants and administrative expenses associated with the Department’s rebalancing efforts pursuant to 20 ILCS 1305/1-50 and in support of the Department’s efforts to expand home and community-based services, including rebalancing and transition costs associated with compliance with consent decrees.

    Section 53. The following named sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to the Department of Human Services for Grants-In-Aid and Purchased Care in its various regions pursuant to Sections 3 and 4 of the Community Services Act and the Community Mental Health Act:
