| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 190 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (5 ILCS 490/190 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 190. Health Care Awareness Day. June 25 of each year |
| 8 | | is designated as Health Care Awareness Day to be observed |
| 9 | | throughout the State as a day to recognize that the ruling of |
| 10 | | the United States Supreme Court in King v. Burwell is of |
| 11 | | historic importance to all Americans, and that the Patient |
| 12 | | Protection and Affordable Care Act constitutes a tremendous |
| 13 | | step forward in ensuring the availability of health care.
