Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Requires any insurer offering certain types of insurance to offer fidelity bonds to any individual, regardless of any record of arrest, conviction, or imprisonment, upon request.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 143.35 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (215 ILCS 5/143.35 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 143.35. Fidelity bonds for individuals. Any insurer |
| 8 | | offering Class 2 insurance as described in Section 4 of this |
| 9 | | Code shall offer fidelity bonds to any individual, regardless |
| 10 | | of any record of arrest, conviction, or imprisonment, upon |
| 11 | | request.
