| 1 | | AN ACT concerning local government.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Counties Code is amended by changing Section |
| 5 | | 3-4010 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (55 ILCS 5/3-4010) (from Ch. 34, par. 3-4010)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 3-4010. Records; reports in counties under 1,000,000. |
| 8 | | The
Public Defender in counties with a population under |
| 9 | | 1,000,000 shall keep a
record of the services rendered by him |
| 10 | | or her and prepare and file quarterly or monthly, as determined |
| 11 | | by the County Board, with
the County Board a written report of |
| 12 | | such services transmitting a copy of
such report to the clerk |
| 13 | | of the Circuit Court for the judges thereof. In
cases where 2 |
| 14 | | or more adjoining counties have joined to form a common
office |
| 15 | | of Public Defender, the Public Defender so appointed shall file |
| 16 | | his or her quarterly or
monthly report with each of the several |
| 17 | | county boards involved.

| 20 | | becoming law.
