| 4 | | 1, by replacing lines 1 through 5 on page 18 with |
| 5 | | "Notwithstanding any other provision to the contrary, the |
| 6 | | Department shall not seek recovery of overpayments, |
| 7 | | adjustments, or other amounts due that are more than 6 years |
| 8 | | old, unless during the 6-year period an active investigation is |
| 9 | | initiated by the Department of State Police or any other State |
| 10 | | or federal law enforcement agency in which case the 6-year |
| 11 | | limitation for the recovery of overpayments, adjustments, or |
| 12 | | other amounts due is tolled for the period of time the matter |
| 13 | | is under investigation or prosecution.".
