Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Provides that an insurer may not remove a provider from their provider directory until the last day of the end date of the original contract between the insurer and the provider.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 355c as follows:
|
| 6 | | (215 ILCS 5/355c new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 355c. Inclusion in provider directory until the end of |
| 8 | | the contract. An insurer may not remove a provider from their |
| 9 | | provider directory until the last day of the end date of the |
| 10 | | original contract between the insurer and the provider.
