| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5781 on page 5, |
| 3 | | immediately after line 3, by inserting the following:

| 4 | | "(g) Prior to disposal of any medication under this |
| 5 | | Section, a State Police officer, police officer, coroner, or |
| 6 | | medical examiner shall photograph the unused medication and its |
| 7 | | container or packaging, if available; document the number or |
| 8 | | amount of medication to be disposed; and include the |
| 9 | | photographs and documentation in the police report, coroner |
| 10 | | report, or medical examiner report.

| 11 | | (h) If an autopsy is performed as part of a death |
| 12 | | investigation, no medication seized under this Section shall be |
| 13 | | disposed of until after a toxicology report is received by the |
| 14 | | entity requesting the report.".
