| 4 | "Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by | ||||||
| 5 | changing Section 11-1502 as follows:

| 6 | (625 ILCS 5/11-1502) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-1502)

| 7 | Sec. 11-1502.
Traffic laws apply to persons riding
| ||||||
| 8 | bicycles. Every person riding a bicycle upon a highway shall be
| ||||||
| 9 | granted all of the rights, including, but not limited to, | ||||||
| 10 | rights under Article IX of this Chapter, and shall be subject | ||||||
| 11 | to all of
the duties applicable to the driver of a vehicle by | ||||||
| 12 | this
Code, except as to special regulations in this Article XV
| ||||||
| 13 | and except as to those provisions of this Code which by their
| ||||||
| 14 | nature can have no application.
