SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $373,254,500 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission for grant awards to students eligible for the Monetary Award Program and for agency administrative and operational costs not to exceed 2% of the total appropriation. Effective immediately, but does not take effect at all unless House Bill 4644 of the 99th General Assembly, as introduced in the House of Representatives, becomes law.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5.  The amount of $373,254,500, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission for grant awards to students eligible for the Monetary Award Program, as provided by law, and for agency administrative and operational costs not to exceed 2% of the total appropriation in this Section.

 

Section 99.  Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law, but this Act does not take effect at all unless House Bill 4644 of the 99th General Assembly, as introduced in the House of Representatives, becomes law.
