SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Reappropriates $14,189,699 to the Department of Natural Resources from the Abandoned Mined Lands Reclamation Council Federal Trust Fund for grants and contracts to conduct research, planning, and construction to eliminate hazards created by abandoned mines, and any other expenses necessary for emergency response. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $14,189,699, or so much thereof as may be necessary and as remains unexpended at the close of business on June 30, 2015, from appropriations heretofore made in Article 7, Section 170 of Public Act 98-0675 and Article 8, Section 255, of Public Act 98-0675, as amended, is reappropriated to the Department of Natural Resources from the Abandoned Mined Lands Reclamation Council Federal Trust Fund for grants and contracts to conduct research, planning, and construction to eliminate hazards created by abandoned mines, and any other expenses necessary for emergency response.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
