Amends the Energy
Efficient Building Act. Provides that no member of an advisory council created as a result of the Act may receive State grants for teaching or administering continuing education concerning any recommendation or rule proposed by the advisory council. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Energy
Efficient Building Act is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 50 as follows: |
| 6 | | (20 ILCS 3125/50 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 50. Prohibition on grants. No member of an advisory |
| 8 | | council created as a result of this Act may receive State |
| 9 | | grants for teaching or administering continuing education |
| 10 | | concerning any recommendation or rule proposed by the advisory |
| 11 | | council.

| 12 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 13 | | becoming law.
