| 2 | | WHEREAS, House Joint Resolution 91 of the 98th General |
| 3 | | Assembly, created the Task Force on Veterans' Suicide to |
| 4 | | investigate the causes to and prevention of suicides among |
| 5 | | returning Illinois veterans of the United States Military; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, House Joint Resolution 91 further directed that |
| 7 | | the findings of the Task Force be reported to the General |
| 8 | | Assembly by January 1, 2015; this due date for the report is no |
| 9 | | longer workable given the scope of the Task Force's |
| 10 | | responsibilities; therefore, be it
|
| 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 12 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE |
| 13 | | SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that the Task Force on Veterans' |
| 14 | | Suicide shall meet periodically at the discretion of the chair |
| 15 | | and shall issue a report of its findings and recommendations to |
| 16 | | the General Assembly on or before December 31, 2016; and be it |
| 17 | | further

| 18 | | RESOLVED, That the Task Force is dissolved following the |
| 19 | | filing of its report; and be it further
|
| 20 | | RESOLVED, That, with this reporting extension, the Task |
| 21 | | Force shall continue to operate pursuant to House Joint |
