| 2 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 3 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE |
| 4 | | SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that we designate the portion of |
| 5 | | Roosevelt Road from Cicero Avenue to Austin Avenue in Chicago |
| 6 | | as Muhammad Ali Road in honor of "The Greatest" and his |
| 7 | | illustrious legacy in the ring; and be it further

| 8 | | RESOLVED, That the Illinois Department of Transportation |
| 9 | | is requested to erect at suitable locations, consistent with |
| 10 | | State and federal regulations, appropriate plaques or signs |
| 11 | | giving notice of the name of Muhammad Ali Road; and be it |
| 12 | | further

| 13 | | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be |
| 14 | | delivered to the Secretary of the Illinois Department of |
| 15 | | Transportation and the family of Muhammad Ali.
