HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  Tobias K. 
4Smith of Rockford, who passed away on December 21, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Tobias Smith was born on May 13, 2010 in Rockford; 
6his parents were Martia Flint and Tyrone Smith, II and he was 
7being raised by Demontae Rhodes; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Tobias Smith was a preschooler at the Summerdale 
9Early Childhood Center; and

  
 
10    WHEREAS, Tobias Smith is survived by his maternal 
11grandparents, Rolanda Collins and Martez Flint; his paternal 
12grandparents, Tyrone Smith, Sr. and Maylene and Calvin and 
13Tiffney Rhodes; his paternal great-grandmother, Jessie 
14Flint-Parham; his maternal great-grandparents, Leonard Fricks, 
15Jr. and Margrette Ferguson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, 
16other relatives, and friends; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
18NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
19we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of 
20Tobias K. Smith; and be it further
