HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  Tyrone 
4Ken Smith, III of Rockford, who passed away on December 21, 
52014; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Tyrone Smith, III was born on November 22, 2008 in 
7Rockford; his parents were Martia Flint and Tyrone Smith, II 
8and he was being raised by Demontae Rhodes; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Tyrone Smith, III was a kindergartner at Lewis 
10Lemon Elementary School; he dreamed of playing in the National 
11Basketball Association when he grew up; and

  
 
12    WHEREAS, Tyrone Smith, III is survived by his maternal 
13grandparents, Rolanda Collins and Martez Flint; his paternal 
14grandparents, Tyrone Smith, Sr. and Maylene and Calvin and 
15Tiffney Rhodes; his paternal-great grandmother, Jessie 
16Flint-Parham; his maternal great-grandparents, Leonard Fricks, 
17Jr. and Margrette Ferguson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, 
18other relatives, and friends; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
20NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
21we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of
