| 3 | | replacing lines 5 through 10 with the following: |
| 4 | | "RESOLVED, That we urge the State Board of Education to |
| 5 | | support our young people by fully funding quality neighborhood |
| 6 | | schools, which should include mentoring programs, |
| 7 | | state-of-the-art library media centers, rigorous science, |
| 8 | | literature, social sciences and math, youth guidance programs, |
| 9 | | smaller class sizes, music, drama, visual arts, world |
| 10 | | languages, and athletics; and be it further

| 11 | | RESOLVED, That we urge our public servants and community |
| 12 | | leaders to address the underlying racial, social, economic, and |
| 13 | | historical inequities faced by young African Americans; and be |
| 14 | | it further". |
