HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Richard Rotz on the 
4occasion of his retirement as Hickory Point Township Clerk; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Rotz was first elected as a Trustee for 
6Hickory Point Township 53 years ago; he has served as the 
7township clerk for the past 24 years; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, As township clerk, Richard Rotz maintained the 
9official records and paperwork as the township went about its 
10many duties; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Richard Rotz loved his job as township clerk and 
12interacting with those whom he met during the course of his 
13duties; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Richard Rotz stepped down from his position as 
15Hickory Point Township Clerk in December of 2014; therefore, be 
16it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
18NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
19congratulate Richard Rotz on his retirement as Hickory Point 
20Township Clerk and wish him the best in all his future
