| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate the Southeast |
| 4 | | Environmental Task Force (SETF) on 25 years of environmental |
| 5 | | stewardship; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, SETF's mission is to inform and educate all |
| 7 | | members of the southeast Chicagoland community, including
|
| 8 | | residents, businesses, and leaders, in areas related to the |
| 9 | | improvement of one's neighborhood's
environment; they strive |
| 10 | | for sustainable development of residential facilities, |
| 11 | | environmentally friendly
and green business practices, and |
| 12 | | preservation of natural areas that improve the quality of life |
| 13 | | in the
Calumet region; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, It is SETF's vision that southeast Chicagoland |
| 15 | | will one day serve as a national and international model for |
| 16 | | the
integration of industrial, residential, and natural areas |
| 17 | | into a productive, green, and environmentally
sustainable |
| 18 | | urban community; therefore, be it
|
| 19 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 20 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 21 | | congratulate the Southeast Environmental Task Force on 25 years |
| 22 | | of environmental stewardship and wish them many more successful |
