| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Rosie L. |
| 4 | | "Rose" Sanders, who passed away on February 6, 2015; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Rose Sanders was born in Glendora, Mississippi on |
| 6 | | October 18, 1938 to Betty Scurlock and Levi Smith; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Rose Sanders moved to Chicago at the age of 18 and |
| 8 | | began working for the Sarah Lee Corporation; while there, she |
| 9 | | met and married Nathaniel Sanders; she retired after working |
| 10 | | for 20 years with Sarah Lee and started a home catering service |
| 11 | | and home daycare; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Rose Sanders enjoyed cooking, traveling, and |
| 13 | | taking care of her family; she was a member of House of Prayer |
| 14 | | Healing and Deliverance; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Rose Sanders is survived by her sister, Ida |
| 16 | | Ballard; her 3 brothers, Willie "Pooh" Smith (Vicky),
