HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate  Johnnie W. Sykes on the 
4occasion of his 86th birthday on August 4, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Johnnie Sykes was born on August 4, 1929 and has 
6been a resident of St. Anne for many years; throughout his 
7life, he has been an invaluable asset to the greater St. Anne 
8community through his strong advocacy for family and his great 
9support for the institution of family; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Johnnie Sykes is a church elder and an active 
11member of Fair Haven Church of God in Christ in Kankakee, where 
12he attends morning worship every Sunday; and

  
 
13    WHEREAS, Johnnie Sykes will be honored at a birthday 
14celebration with his immediate family and church family on 
15August 1, 2015 at the Kankakee County Historical Society's 
16Centennial Room; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
18NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
19congratulate Johnnie W. Sykes on the occasion of his 86th 
20birthday and wish him continued success and happiness in the
