HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Marguerite 
4Lorenzini Lieb on the occasion of her 90th birthday; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Marguerite Lieb was  born in Chicago on March 29, 
61925; she was raised on the West Side of Chicago and graduated 
7from Providence St. Mel School; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Marguerite Lieb was married to Frank, a World War 
9II United States Army veteran, for 50 years until his passing; 
10they raised their family in Berkeley and had 3 children, 
11Stephen (Billie), Barbara (Larry), and Frank (Betsy); and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Marguerite Lieb was very independent and a 
13self-sufficient working mom in the 1950s; she worked many years 
14at State Farm Insurance; she retired to Wonder Lake, where she 
15worked for many years at the Master Property Owners 
16Association; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Marguerite Lieb is admired as a nonagenarian and 
18as the family matriarch; she has been an outstanding example of 
19practicing one's faith, never missing church on a Sunday 
20morning unless due to illness; and

1    WHEREAS, Marguerite Lieb is grandmother to Stephen 
2(Stephanie), Nicole, Chris (Faye), Carina (Patrick), Erik 
3(Allison), Elisa, and Sarah and great-grandmother to 
4Mackenzie, Connor, Devin, Alexis, Olivia, Dillon, Cody, 
5Allison, and Luke; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
7NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
8congratulate Marguerite Lorenzini Lieb on her 90th birthday and 
9wish her many more wonderful years; and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to Marguerite Lieb as an expression of our esteem and 
12respect.
