HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Bob Howard on the occasion 
4of his retirement from the Elmhurst Park District Board of Park 
5Commissioners; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Bob Howard was first elected to the Elmhurst Park 
7District Board of Commissioners in 2009 and served for 6 years 
8until his retirement on April 22, 2015; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, During Bob Howard's tenure as a Park Commissioner, 
10he served on numerous Board committees and on the Sugar Creek 
11Golf Course Board; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Bob Howard was instrumental in helping the 
13Elmhurst Park District in promoting and attaining several 
14initiatives that saw the park district grow and receive both 
15State and national recognition for its operations and 
16sustainability; and
  
 
  
17    WHEREAS, Bob Howard has given countless hours to the park 
18district and recreation movement in Elmhurst and the State; 
19therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
2congratulate Bob Howard on his retirement from the Elmhurst 
3Park District Board of Park Commissioners and wish him the best 
4in all his future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to Bob Howard as an expression of our esteem and 
7respect.
