HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate James "J.J." Wolfe of 
4Dakota Junior & Senior High School on winning the 2015 Illinois 
5High School Association (IHSA)  Class 1A 145-Pound State 
6Wrestling Championship; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, J.J. Wolfe is ranked 14th in the nation as a 
8National All-American and has a record of 43 wins  and 2 loses; 
9in 2014, he won the IHSA Class 1A 138-Pound
State Wrestling 
10Championship, and, in 2013, he took second place at State; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, J.J. Wolfe wrestles approximately 10 months out of 
12the year all across the country; this is the third
summer he 
13has been asked to wrestle for Team Illinois; he wrestled at the

14Scholastic Duals in Indiana and in Virginia Beach in past 
15years; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, In addition to being a successful wrestler, J.J. 
17Wolfe  is an excellent student and excels at
Drafting/CAD; he 
18has been ranked first in his class for the past 3 years; he is a

19member of the Varsity Club and participates in the Tech Trek 
20Competition, where he was
ranked 14th in the nation; and
  
 
21    WHEREAS, J.J. Wolfe is a senior and plans to continue

1wrestling while attending Eastern Michigan
University, where 
2he will major in  mechanical engineering; in his free time, he 
3enjoys spending time with friends, traveling with his family to 
4their
cottage in the Wisconsin Dells during the summer, and 
5collecting shoes; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
7NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
8congratulate James "J.J." Wolfe on winning the 2015 Illinois 
9High School Association Class 1A 145-Pound State Wrestling 
10Championship; and be it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to J.J. Wolfe as an expression of our esteem and 
13respect.
