| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate the Uplift Titans on |
| 4 | | winning the Illinois High School Association Division 2A State |
| 5 | | Championship; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, The Uplift Titans defeated the St. Teresa Bulldogs |
| 7 | | of Decatur by a score of 53 to 47 to claim the championship; |
| 8 | | and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Jeremy Roscoe was the Player of the Game; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, The Uplift Titans are coached by David Taylor; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, This was truly a "dream season" for the Uplift |
| 12 | | Titans; therefore, be it
|
| 13 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 14 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 15 | | congratulate the Uplift Titans on winning the Illinois High |
| 16 | | School Association Division 2A State Championship; and be it |
