HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the
death of Jessie M. 
4Hafenrichter, who passed away on February 25, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jessie Hafenrichter was born in Lowell, Oklahoma 
6on January 21, 1928 to Tom and Mattie (nee Slaughter) Jones; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Jessie Hafenrichter dedicated her life to 
9improving Kendall County; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Jessie Hafenrichter served for over 40 years as a 
11member of the Kendall County
Board of Tax Review, the last 25 
12years as its Chairman; she was elected to the Kendall
County 
13Board in 1996 and served as a member until 2012; while on the 
14County Board, she served as the board liaison to the
health 
15department for 10 years, and as Vice-Chairman of the Kendall 
16County Housing Authority
for many years; she also fought for 
17land preservation and for
public transportation in Kendall 
18County; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Jessie Hafenrichter was dearly loved by her family 
20and friends and was highly
respected in Kendall County; and

1    WHEREAS, Jessie Hafenrichter was preceded in death by her 
2parents; her first husband, Alvin Kleinschmidt; and her second 
3husband, Lee Hafenrichter; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
5NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
6mourn the passing of Jessie M.
Hafenrichter, and extend our 
7sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew 
8and
loved her; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Jessie
Hafenrichter as an expression 
11of our deepest sympathy.
