| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to recognize the Westmont Community Blood |
| 4 | | Drive & Organ Donor Education Event; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, The event, held on March 28, 2015 at Westmont High |
| 6 | | School, raised awareness about the many lives that can be saved |
| 7 | | with blood and organ donations; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, The event was co-sponsored by the Westmont Lions |
| 9 | | Club and the Westmont High School Students Against Drunk |
| 10 | | Driving Club; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, The event provided education on blood, bone |
| 12 | | marrow, and organ donations and provided resources for those |
| 13 | | who wished to follow up on such donations; therefore, be it
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 15 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 16 | | recognize the Westmont Community Blood Drive & Organ Donor |
| 17 | | Education Event and the commitment of the organizers to spread |
| 18 | | the word on the increased need for blood and organ donations; |
| 19 | | and be it further
