| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Harrisburg High School |
| 4 | | Head Baseball Coach Jay Thompson on his 700th career win; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Coach Thompson achieved this milestone with a 9-3 |
| 6 | | victory over Herrin High School; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Coach Thompson's career at Harrisburg High School |
| 8 | | began in 1981 through 2003; he returned in 2005 and 2006 and |
| 9 | | again in 2009 through the present; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, In Coach Thompson's 29-year career, he has |
| 11 | | achieved a record of 700 wins and 204 losses; therefore, be it
|
| 12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 13 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 14 | | congratulate Harrisburg High School Head Baseball Coach Jay |
| 15 | | Thompson on his 700th career win and we wish him many more |
| 16 | | successful years; and be it further

| 17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 | | presented to Coach Thompson as an expression of our esteem and |
| 19 | | respect.
