HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Mary Kuprianczyk on 
4receiving the Amelia Earhart Award; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Kuprianczyk is a Cadet Captain with the 
6United States Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol unit 
7stationed at Palwaukee Airport; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, The Amelia Earhart Award honors the completion of 
9a cadet's first 11 achievements of the cadet program and is the 
10second milestone of the program; the cadet program covers 
11aerospace education, leadership, special activities, physical 
12fitness, and moral and ethical values through group and 
13individual activities; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS,  Mary Kuprianczyk is a junior high school student 
15at Rickover Naval Academy (Chicago Public Schools Naval High 
16School in Edgewater); and
  
 
  
17    WHEREAS, Mary Kuprianczyk exemplifies what a role model  
18should be for the youth of her community; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
20NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

1congratulate Mary Kuprianczyk on receiving the Amelia Earhart 
2Award; and be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
