HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Regina Elaine Rush of 
4Shiloh on the occasion of her retirement  after 28 years 
5educating pre-school children in
East Saint Louis School 
6District 189's Early Childhood Program; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Regina Rush started her tenure with East Saint 
8Louis
School District 189 as a Teacher's Assistant and 
9Diagnostic Tester; in May of 1998, she  graduated from Southern

10Illinois University-Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science in

11Early Childhood Education; she was hired by District 189 as an 
12Early
Childhood Teacher in September of 1998; in 2005, she made 
13the
President's List and received a Certificate of Recognition 
14for Academic
Excellence from Kaskaskia College in Centralia; 
15and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Regina Rush has served as a Team Leader in the 
17Early Childhood Program, on the
Kindergarten Readiness 
18Committee, and on the Retirement Committee; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Regina Rush is a  member of Shiloh M.B. Church in

20Centreville, where she serves on the Board of Trustees and is a

21member of the Scholarship Committee; and

1    WHEREAS, A retirement dinner will be held in Regina Rush's 
2honor at Fischer's Restaurant in Belleville on Saturday, May 
330, 2015; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
5NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
6congratulate Regina Elaine Rush on her retirement  after 28 
7years educating pre-school children in
East Saint Louis School 
8District 189's Early Childhood Program; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to Regina Rush as an expression of our esteem and 
11respect.
