HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives with to congratulate Sister M. Simona 
4Frohning, FSGM on 25 years as a member of the Sisters of St. 
5Francis of the Martyr St. George; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Sister Frohning entered into religious life on 
7September 8, 1980; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Sister Frohning holds an associate's degree in 
9accounting from Olney Central College; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Sister Frohning's principal areas of ministry 
11have been in domestic services at the Apostolic Nunciature in 
12Washington, D.C., service in priest retirement homes in 
13Lincoln, Nebraska and Somerset, New Jersey, and in secretarial 
14services and pastoral care at OSF Saint Anthony's Health Center 
15in Alton; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Sister Frohning currently serves as superior and 
17administrator of the Maria Regina Residence for retired priests 
18in Somerset, New Jersey; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Sister Frohning is a native of Ingraham in the 
20Belleville diocese; she calls Holy Cross Church of Wendelin her

1home parish; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
3NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
4congratulate Sister M. Simona Frohning, FSGM on 25 years as a 
5member of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George; 
6and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to Sister Frohning as an expression of our esteem and 
9respect.
