| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House Representatives |
| 3 | | wish to congratulate Craig Collins on the occasion of his |
| 4 | | retirement from Geneva Community School District 304; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Craig Collins began his career teaching social |
| 6 | | studies at the junior/senior high school in Mora, Minnesota |
| 7 | | from 1976 to 1978; from 1978 to 1980, he taught social studies |
| 8 | | at the senior high school in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; from 1980 to |
| 9 | | 1981, he served as a teaching assistant at the Department of |
| 10 | | Elementary/Early Childhood Education at the University of |
| 11 | | Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; from 1983 to 1986, he served as |
| 12 | | Principal of the junior/senior high school in Assumption; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Craig Collins joined District 304 in 1986 as the |
| 14 | | Assistant Principal of Geneva Community High School; later that |
| 15 | | year, he became Principal, serving in that position until 2000; |
| 16 | | and |
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Craig Collins became Assistant Superintendent of |
| 18 | | Human Resources for District 304 in 2000, serving for 15 years |
| 19 | | until 2015; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Craig Collins grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; he |
| 21 | | earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Social Studies |
