HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate  Laverne Kloess on the 
4occasion of her retirement from the St. Clair County State's 
5Attorney's Office on September 1, 2015; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Laverne Kloess is retiring after almost 30 years 
7of employment with the St. Clair County State's Attorney's 
8Office and 10 years with the St. Clair County Circuit Clerk's 
9Office; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Laverne Kloess began her career with the St. Clair 
11County State's Attorney's Office on March 1, 1986; she was also 
12employed with the St. Clair County Circuit Clerk's Office from 
131971 to 1981; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Laverne Kloess began her career as a clerk in the 
15Child Support Division; she subsequently transferred to the 
16Traffic and Misdemeanor Division and worked in the Juvenile 
17Division from 1987 until her retirement; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Laverne Kloess was instrumental in the training of 
19many Assistant State's Attorneys in the Juvenile Division; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Laverne Kloess serves as a model of hard work,

1integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of 
2Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
4NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
5congratulate Laverne Kloess on the occasion of her retirement 
6and wish her continued success and happiness in the future; and 
7be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to Laverne Kloess as a symbol of our esteem and 
10respect.
