HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Steven Joseph Camiliere 
4on achieving the rank  of Eagle Scout; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Steven Camiliere is a member of Boy Scouts of 
6America Troop 297, based at MacArthur School in Hoffman 
7Estates; he has held the positions of den chief, troop guide, 
8chaplains aide, patrol leader, Council  Order of the Arrow Vigil 
9Chief,  and chapter vice-chief; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Steven Camiliere has earned 54 merit badges, with 
11only 21 needed to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Steven Camiliere's Eagle Project was restoring 
13the veteran's commission float for Hoffman Estates; he 
14organized a car  wash to raise money to fund the project; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Steven Camiliere has been in the Boy Scouts since 
16he was 6 years old, when his mother was his den leader; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Steven Camiliere's parents are Laura and Jeff 
18Camiliere; he has a sister, Jenny; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Steven Camiliere's Court of Honor will be held  at

1the Hoffman Estates Village Hall on September 27, 2015; 
2therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
4NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
5congratulate Steven Joseph Camiliere on achieving the rank  of 
6Eagle Scout and we wish him the best in all his future 
7endeavors; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to Steven Camiliere as an expression of our esteem 
10and respect.
