HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to offer encouragement to Xaivore Ty Adcock, a student at Wesclin Middle School just outside of New Baden, where he lives with his loving father, step-mother, and siblings; and

WHEREAS, Xaivore Adcock is a very special boy for his age; he would like to be a police officer when he grows up, and like most boys, he loves football (especially the Chicago Bears) and playing in the dirt with his cars, tractors, and monster trucks; he has met some incredible challenges in his young life; he was diagnosed with cancer, but it is not the challenges that face him that make him special; it is his tremendous courage and ability to love life, his friends, and his family amidst the challenges he faces that makes him so special; and

WHEREAS, The example that Xaivore Adcock provides with his everyday actions is an example in which we all can find inspiration; he exemplifies courage, strength, and perseverance as he battles this terrible illness; and

WHEREAS, We also acknowledge and offer encouragement to Xaivore Adcock's family and friends in their continuing effort to support him, including: his father, Nicholas G. Adcock; his step-mother, Eve Adcock; his step-sister, Mariah J. Sauerhage; his step-sister, Hannah S. Sauerhage; his sister, Lillianne N. Adcock; his brother, William G. Adcock; his sister, Abigail M. Adcock; his paternal grandmother, Ann Adcock; his paternal grandfather, Dennis Adcock; and his paternal aunt, Rebecca Varel; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we offer our prayers, greatest hopes, and best wishes to Xaivore Adcock in his ongoing battle with this illness; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Adcock Family as an expression of our admiration and respect.
