| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to
congratulate the members of the |
| 4 | | Auburn High School football team, the Trojans, on their 2nd |
| 5 | | place finish in
the 2015 Class 2A State Championship; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, After a thrilling 10-4 season, coming back from a |
| 7 | | 1-3 start, the Trojans appeared in their first ever State |
| 8 | | championship game; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, The Trojans displayed fine sportsmanship and |
| 10 | | athletic professionalism during their final game in a bid for a |
| 11 | | State championship and they maintained their dignity and
high |
| 12 | | standards throughout the entire season; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Head Coach Dave Bates led the Trojans to their |
| 14 | | first State
championship game in football during his 30th |
| 15 | | season and he plans to capitalize on this
successful season by |
| 16 | | creating an even stronger team next season; and
|
