| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Richard Martin on the |
| 4 | | occasion of his retirement from the Murphysboro Fire Department |
| 5 | | after 32 years of service on February 6, 2016; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Richard Martin began his career with the |
| 7 | | Murphysboro Fire Department on February 1, 1984; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Richard Martin became the Associated Fire |
| 9 | | Fighters of Illinois Southern District Legislative |
| 10 | | Representative in 2005, and currently serves in that position; |
| 11 | | and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Richard Martin is the proud father of daughter, |
| 13 | | Olivia, and sons, Eli (Karyn) and Zeke; he is the proud |
| 14 | | grandfather of Gunner; therefore, be it
|
| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 16 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 17 | | congratulate Richard Martin on his retirement from the |
| 18 | | Murphysboro Fire Department and we wish him the best in all his |
| 19 | | future endeavors; and be it further
