HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate  the owners of Duraclean 
4International, Inc. on the occasion of the organization's 85th 
5anniversary; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Duraclean was founded as the Home Service Company 
7in Racine, Wisconsin in 1930; the company was moved to 
8Deerfield in 1938; in 1998, the business was bought out and 
9moved to Arlington Heights the following year; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, From its beginnings as a carpet and upholstery 
11cleaning company, Duraclean has expanded its services to over 
1210 major surfaces, including water and smoke restoration, mold 
13remediation, crime and death scene clean-up, and ventilation 
14duct cleaning, among others; the company has 290 franchises in 
1529 U.S. states and 8 countries; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Duraclean has helped countless people and 
17businesses in the aftermath of every major recent disaster in 
18the United States, including the recent winter storm damage in 
19the Northeastern states and many tornadoes, hurricanes, and 
20floods; and

  
 
21    WHEREAS, Duraclean serves as a model of civic virtue by

1providing this vital service to the people of this State, our 
2nation, and the world at large; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
4NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
5congratulate the owners of Duraclean International on the 
6occasion of the organization's 85th anniversary and wish them 
7continued success in the future; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9delivered to Vincent J. Caffarello, President of Duraclean 
10International, Inc., as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
