HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to
congratulate Coach Cliff Cameron and 
4the Pleasant Plains High School boys basketball team, the 
5Cardinals, on
winning the Sangamon County Boys Basketball 
6Tournament; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, This victory marks the Cardinals' 10th 
8championship in the Sangamon
County Boys Basketball 
9Tournament; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, The Cardinals defeated the Williamsville Bullets 
11in a
thrilling championship game by a score of 47 to 43; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, The Cardinals' performance in the tournament 
13proves an inspiration for all young and aspiring athletes in 
14our State; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, The Cardinals are Dalton Phillips, Aden Sachs, 
16Daulton Nibbe, Cole Greer,
Brock Hergenrother, Kyle Helton, 
17Jacob Cronister, Collin Hecker, Isaac Collins, Austin Finley,

18Derek Peterson, Kaleb Wolters, Nik Clemens, and T.J. Painter;

20    WHEREAS, Cardinals Isaac Collins, Austin Finley, and Cole

named to the Sangamon County Boys Basketball 
2All-Tournament Team for their exceptional

4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
5NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
6congratulate the members of the Pleasant Plains High School

7boys basketball team, the Cardinals, on their 10th Sangamon 
8County Boys Basketball Tournament
Championship; and be it

10    RESOLVED, That we wish Coach Cliff Cameron all the best as 
11he retires following his
18th season as head coach of the 
12Pleasant Plains High School boys basketball team; and be it
