HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Prairie Ridge High
School 
4for attaining the "Recognized American School Counselor 
5Association Model Program" (RAMP)
designation; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The Student Services Department at Prairie Ridge 
7High School created and implemented a
developmental curriculum 
8providing academic and emotional support to the student body; 
9and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, The designation process was complex and required 
11the department to evaluate services and
analyze its 
12effectiveness; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Only 600 schools in the United States of America 
14have received this designation since 2004; and
  
 
  
15    WHEREAS, School counselors have a profound effect on the 
16students they serve; the Student
Services Department at Prairie 
17Ridge High School is leading students to successful lives after 
18high school; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
20NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

1congratulate Prairie Ridge High School on their dedication to 
2student development and attaining the RAMP designation; and be

4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the Student Services Department at
