HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate the Tri-Valley High 
4School football team, the Vikings, on winning the 2015 Illinois 
5High School Association Class 2A State Championship; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The Vikings defeated Auburn High School by a score 
7of 41 to 8 at Northern Illinois University's Huskie Stadium in 
8DeKalb to claim the championship; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, The Vikings completed the season with an 
10undefeated record of 14 wins and 0 losses, topping the 13 and 1 
112013 season; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Since falling behind in the opening game of the 
13season, in what ended up being a 49 to 18 win, the Vikings 
14never trailed the rest of the season; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, The Vikings are coached by Josh Roop, who took 
16over the program in 2007; therefore, be it
  
 
  
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
18NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
19congratulate the Tri-Valley High School football team, the 
20Vikings, on winning the 2015 Illinois High School Association
