HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives would like to congratulate Randy and Janelle

4Ream on the opening of their new location of Ream's Meat Market 
5in Elburn; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The new location on 250 S. Main St. in Elburn will 
7still feature the usual meats they
are known for such as 
8sausages, fresh meats, deli meats, various smoked meats, and 
9other products, but
Ream's Meat Market has added a variety of 
10wine and select beers; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, The new building has almost double the space of 
12the former store, which will
accommodate both the retail and 
13manufacturing parts of the business, including a total of three

14smokehouses; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, The Ream's are excited for this new location and 
16are looking to implement more
aspects of their business now 
17that they have more space; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, The Ream family has owned the business since 1954, 
19and Randy Ream has been the
owner since 1980; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Randy Ream has earned a spot in the Cured Meat

1Hall of Fame along with a combined 200
awards in national and 
2State competitions; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
4NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
5congratulate the Ream family on the opening of their new

6location and we wish them many successful years ahead; and be 
7it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the Ream family as an
expression of our esteem and 
10as a celebration of their importance to the community.
