| 1 | HOUSE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, Tyree Mack was born and raised in Canton and was | ||||||
| 3 | raised by his grandparents, Darlene Mortimer and Michael Payne; | ||||||
| 4 | and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Tyree Mack is a senior in high school and will | ||||||
| 6 | graduate in May of 2016; his activities, interests, and | ||||||
| 7 | responsibilities at school include wrestling, basketball, | ||||||
| 8 | cross country, music, musicals, and singing; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, This year, Tyree Mack was awarded the distinction | ||||||
| 10 | of "Mister Little Giant" after a talent and personality contest | ||||||
| 11 | at his high school; and | ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Tyree Mack's responsibilities at home include | ||||||
| 13 | helping to care for his younger siblings and maintaining good | ||||||
| 14 | grades; he currently maintains a job at Camino Real in Canton; | ||||||
| 15 | and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Most notably, Tyree Mack loves to help others; he | ||||||
| 17 | has volunteered at the Salvation Army, the Renaissance Care | ||||||
| 18 | Center, and the Helping Hands Resale Shop; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Tyree Mack's future dreams and aspirations | ||||||
| 20 | involve going to college and earning a degree in child care, | ||||||
| |||||||
| |||||||
| 1 | with a minor in music; he also seeks to eventually open a | ||||||
| 2 | shelter or create an organization that helps the poor and the | ||||||
| 3 | physically or mentally disabled; and
| ||||||
| 4 | WHEREAS, According to his teachers and school | ||||||
| 5 | administrators, Tyree Mack is an extremely positive person who | ||||||
| 6 | is always friendly and polite and is exceptionally supportive | ||||||
| 7 | of his peers; most everyone at school would in some way | ||||||
| 8 | consider him to be his or her friend; always willing to try | ||||||
| 9 | anything once, he exhibits strength in an outgoing personality | ||||||
| 10 | despite being shy by nature; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 11 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 12 | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 13 | congratulate Tyree Mack with this House Resolution for his | ||||||
| 14 | outstanding accomplishments and unique character and wish him | ||||||
| 15 | great success in his future endeavors; and be it further
| ||||||
| 16 | RESOLVED, That we further congratulate Tyree Mack for being | ||||||
| 17 | named as Canton High School's "Mister Little Giant"; and be it | ||||||
| 18 | further | ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 20 | presented to Tyree Mack as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
