| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Rev. Ralph Brandon on 50 |
| 4 | | years in the ministry; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Rev. Brandon is the Senior Pastor at Christian |
| 6 | | Covenant Fellowship in Carterville, where he has been preaching |
| 7 | | for the past 25 years; he has been a full-time pastor for 50 |
| 8 | | years; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Rev. Brandon is the founder of Unity Christian |
| 10 | | School in Herrin and serves as a motivational speaker and grief |
| 11 | | counselor; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Rev. Brandon enjoys peppering his sermons with |
| 13 | | humor; his office shelves can be found with selections of books |
| 14 | | featuring classic comedians such as Milton Berle and Groucho |
| 15 | | Marx; therefore, be it

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 17 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
