HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Elizabeth Lerner on the 
4occasion of her retirement after 30 years of  service with Cook 
5County and the City of Chicago; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Elizabeth Lerner worked for nearly 10 years for 
7the Cook County State's Attorney's Office; she was then hired 
8by the City of Chicago as an investigator, working her way
up 
9to Deputy Chief Investigator of the Independent Police Review 
10Authority; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Elizabeth Lerner has served the City of Chicago 
12with integrity, honesty, and dedication for 20 years; and
  
 

  
13    WHEREAS, Elizabeth Lerner has a stellar record of 
14performance and  throughout her career, never lost sight of her 
15responsibility to protect the citizens of Chicago; therefore, 
16be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
18NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
19congratulate Elizabeth Lerner on her retirement after 30 years 
20of service with Cook County and the City of Chicago; and be it
